Description
Walking in support of the many programs of the UT Health San Antonio's Cancer Research Center, the 10th Annual Wilenchik Walk for Life event serves to bring awareness for cancer research. Participants gather to remember family members lost to cancer and to honor those still fighting. The 5K event travels from Samuel Clemens High School, along Community Circle Dr, onto Schertz Parkway to the turnaround point at Jonas Dr for the return trip to the school. Check-in/registration begins at 8:00 AM Welcome and warm-up begin at 8:30 AM Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:00 AM Prizes will be awarded as follows: Best T-Shirt Design Men's 5K Run-First, Second and Third Place Women's 5K Run-First, Second and Third Place.
