Love Where You Live-Schertz (LWYL) is hosting it's 19th Clean-up event in four neighborhoods (The Village, Heritage, Parklands, and Lone Oak). In its 10th year of serving the Schertz community, LWYL serves homeowners in older, under-served, and often forgotten neighborhoods who need help maintaining their yard, trimming trees/bushes, bulk trash removal, and minor home repair/maintenance. Many of those we serve are elderly, disabled, widowed, veterans, and/or simply incapable of performing the work themselves or paying someone to do it. Volunteers can sign up at lwylschertz.com.
